Botond, Szilágyi (He)

Botond Szilagyi obtained his Ph.D. from Babes-Bolyai University in 2016. After graduation, he spent a short time as a post-doc at Loughborough University, and between 2017 and 2020, he worked at Purdue University - both in the Zoltan Nagy's groups. He returned to Hungary with a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (2021-2023), and since 2023, he has been an associate professor of process engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His main research focus is model-based analysis, design, and control of industrial crystallization processes, in which he works on academic research projects and collaborates with pharmaceutical and food industrial partners as well.
